Warranties

A true test of the quality of a product is how well the company will stand behind it. It is important to remember that installation is crucial to how a window and/or door will operate and function. Here at Atlantic we strive to exceed our customer’s expectations. We believe in the superiority of our product and are proud to offer the following warranties:

Windows Sold With Installation:

This is a lifetime (equivalent to 40 years) warranty. In addition, this warranty is transferable once upon the resale of the original purchaser’s home, simply provide the new homeowner with the original bill of purchase and sale. There are only three conditions that apply to this warranty:

• Torn screens that transpire after installation & which Atlantic or its employees played no part in.
• Glass breakage that occurs after installation & which is not the fault of Atlantic.
• Atlantic’s warranty is void if the applicable products are subjected to unusual and inexcusable abuse & total lack of acceptable maintenance, or harmful solvents are used to clean any surface.*

* Vinyl surfaces should be cleaned with a mild household soap and water applied with a sponge to wipe off any accumulated surface dirt. Glass should be cleaned with a mixture of household vinegar & water, also applied with a sponge.

Windows Sold Supply Only

Although we are unable to warranty the installation, we offer the following warranty on our products:

• Vinyl – Lifetime Warranty
• Insulating Glass – 5 Years against a Seal Failure
• Hardware – 2 Years under Normal Wear and Tear
• Exclusions – Glass breakage and torn screens by any cause is excluded from the warranty.

Lifetime Warranty on Q-Lon Weather Stripping & Hinges

• To avoid heat build-up, steel doors that have a storm door installed must remain open to the second notch of the inside track. This allows air circulation between the steel door and storm door. This should be done year round; failure to do so may result in warping of the door components.
• It is recommended that a liquid solution of mild household soap and water be applied with a sponge to wipe off accumulated surface dirt. This warranty is void if any harmful solvents are used to clean any surface or products are subject to unusual and inexcusable abuse.

Here at Atlantic, we know that the customer service does not end when the installation has been completed, but rather it only begins at that time.
